This process is usually conducted during the fall months of the year late August through October. Cooler temperatures increase the survival rate of seedlings, and the aeration allows water to enter the soil promoting seed germination.

Performed by removing samples of soil from random areas in the lawn then sent to lab to be analyzed. Thus, providing pH and nutrient levels in the soil.  The sample results assist with creating a comprehensive plan for lawn applications.

After inspecting the lawn and identifying the insect creating problems a management plan will be developed and implemented for strategic control of the insect.

Bermudagrass is a warm season turfgrass utilized in warmer climates for sport fields and lawns. However, this species (a.k.a. Wiregrass) becomes an invasive weed in cool season lawns, landscape beds and athletic fields in central Virginia. Chemical applications throughout the growing season will reduce the population of bermudagrass in cool season turf scenarios.
